Teaming Up
MBU’s president, Dr. Alton Lacey, presented Albert Pujols a $9,000 check at Busch Stadium before the Cardinals-Braves game Sept. 9.
It’s part of a burgeoning partnership between MBU and the Pujols Foundation. Earlier this fall, the University hosted a Pujols Foundation basketball tournament.

Missouri Baptist women’s cross country and track and field coach Tish Hanna has spent a career preparing athletes to run. However, perhaps what she is best known for is the time she has put in preparing athletes to walk.
A Lasting Legacy
It was a Labor Day weekend like many others before it. Family gatherings, barbecues, working in the yard and relaxing were the order of the day. And on this Saturday in 1999, it included dinner and a movie for John and Kay Littlefield. But, when they returned home that evening, nothing about the rest of that weekend would be ordinary for the Littlefield family.
